Terms of Service

The rules that govern access to and use of MYCALP's California legal-practice software.

Policy status

These migrated terms remain subject to owner and counsel review. Material revisions should use a new version and may require renewed acceptance.

Software for California legal work

MYCALP provides software tools for California attorneys and authorized firm staff. The platform is not a substitute for attorney judgment, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship with SNC Law Office.

Eligibility and account duties

Users must be eligible for the service, provide accurate identity information, protect sign-in access, comply with court and professional obligations, and handle only information they are authorized to process electronically.

Attorney responsibility

The attorney remains responsible for every form, deadline, filing, signature packet, service record, AI output, provider result, client communication, and final document review.

Your data

Attorney and firm work product remains the account holder's data. MYCALP receives only the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, render, export, retain, and delete that data to operate the service.

Billing, cancellation, and refunds

Current Solo Practitioner and Law Firm plans are billed through Stripe after the disclosed five-day trial. Stripe presents the exact price and renewal terms. Cancellation, plan-change, and refund questions may be directed to support@mycalp.com; statutory rights are not limited.

Third-party services

The platform may use Vercel, Neon, S3-compatible storage, Stripe, email delivery, the Casper VPS, and configured signature, service, filing, bond, or insurance providers. Each external service has its own terms and operational limits.

Acceptable use

Do not upload unauthorized material, bypass access controls, scrape or automate abusively, send unlawful communications, interfere with service operation, or use MYCALP in violation of law, court rules, provider terms, or duties to a client.

Availability and limits

The service is provided as available. MYCALP does not guarantee uninterrupted access, a provider's acceptance, court acceptance, or a particular legal result. Any limitation of liability remains subject to applicable law and the final owner-approved terms.

Governing law and changes

California law governs these terms. Material changes should be published clearly and may require acceptance again at the next registration or login.
