Privacy Policy
How MYCALP collects, uses, protects, and discloses information when attorneys use the service.
Policy status
This migrated policy remains subject to owner and counsel review. Registration records the user's acceptance of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy presented at signup.
What we store
MYCALP processes account identity, State Bar verification, attorney and firm profiles, workspace membership, matter and party data, form values, drafts, generated files, signature and service records, filing metadata, support communications, audit events, and billing references needed for the selected workflows.
Where it is processed
The web application runs on Vercel, relational application data is stored in Neon Postgres, private file content uses S3-compatible storage, and the canonical California-law service remains on the Casper VPS. Stripe handles card entry on its hosted checkout.
Provider connections and AI requests
Server-held provider secrets are not returned to browsers. Casper receives only the authorized identity and matter context sent for that request. A Vercel BYO-AI-key feature is not claimed until encrypted account-level key storage is implemented and verified.
No sale or advertising use
MYCALP does not sell personal information or matter content and does not use matter content for advertising. Operational logs support authentication, security, reliability, support, and audit history.
Access, export, retention, and deletion
Users may request access, correction, export, or deletion through account tools or support. Billing records, signature certificates, service proof, audit events, and filed or conformed records may be retained when law, professional duties, provider contracts, or dispute prevention require it.
Security incidents and contact
Security incidents affecting personal information or matter content are reviewed under applicable law. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to support@mycalp.com; do not send confidential client files through ordinary email.
